Yes, those are client-side technologies, so it doesn't matter whether Java or Flash are listed among plan features; they are supported by default.
12. Do you offer MySQL?
Yes, we offer MySQL in all of our Linux Hosting Plans.
Yes, you will have access to both Awstats and Webalizer programs that will provide you detailed online information on important aspects of your web-site. Statistics includes How many people have visited your web site on which day? ,What browser did
they use? , What areas/pages of your website they accessed? ,Which search engines and keywords they used to reach your
site etc.
Space is the amount of "stuff" you can put on your web site and is usually listed in megabytes (MB, millions of bytes). One single letter takes up one byte. HTML files are usually rather small but pictures and programs can get quite big. Your scripts, emails and logs will also take up space on your site.
Data is transferred to and from a web server every time some one accesses your web pages / e-mails / etc. Transfer / traffic limit is the amount of data that can be transferred before you reach your monthly limit. Transfer is usually listed in gigabytes (billions of bytes). All our web hosting plans come with generous traffic limits that can suffice most normal websites.
15. How much data transfer will I need for my web pages?
You can figure out how much page data transfer you will require by estimating your average page size (including graphics!) and multiplying it by the number of page views you expect to have in a month. For example with an average page size of 50 KB, and around 200 page views per day, you will transfer an average of 300 MB per month. In this case, you should get a plan one step higher than with 300 MB of data transfer limit per month, so you don't have to worry about overstepping your account's limit.
16. Can we set up password protected areas directories.
Yes, after logging in to the control panel and clicking on "password protected directories" icon.
17. Can my POP accounts be configured as myname@mycompanyname.com?
Yes, the POP accounts will be configured on your domain name.
18. Do I have a control panel for my linux hosting account from where I can manage my site?
Yes, you can logon to https://yourdomainname.com:2083 and manage your website. Here you will have to provide the main username and password given to you at the time your account was created.
19. Do you provide an unlimited transfer plan?
No. In order to ensure high quality bandwidth and uptime to our customers we do not allow anyone hosted on the same server as you to use unlimited transfer / throughput.
Almost all hosts that offer "unlimited" plans specify in their acceptable use policies that no site can use an "excessive" amount of resources. If you use too much disk space, bandwidth, or CPU time, these "unlimited" hosts will ask you to upgrade or leave.
20. Is there a minimum contract term for hosting accounts / dedicated servers?
All hosting accounts / complete websites / dedicated servers require a 1 year minimum contract.
21. When can I start hosting my site?
If your domain name linked to your hosting package is available/propagated and we've received your payment, your account will be activated same day. Your username and password will be mailed to you along with the control panel link to access and maintain your own website.
22. In how much time are the account details given to me after I make the payment?
Same day your payment is credited to our bank account.
23. Will I have unlimited access to update my pages?
You have unlimited access via FTP / File Manager, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
24. Do you offer JSP/Servlets?
We offer JSP / Servlets in selective Linux Hosting Plans. However, to ensure optimum resource availability to other customers, we host such sites on separate servers. Please contact Sales Department for more information and availability of this feature.
25. Can I keep my domain name when I change a host?
Yes, if you own a domain name, then, when you need to move to another host, you just need to point your domain's nameservers to this new host. If you registered your domain name with a host and you now want to move, you should find your registration records or contact this host and ask them how to control your domain name. If you have a problem, you can usually see the name of the Registrar by performing a "WHOIS" query on your domain name and contact them.
26. Can I point multiple domain names to my web site?
We can point multiple domains to your web site (after receiving your request), but these must point to the main site, not a sub-folder. We do offer generous multi-site discounts if you need multiple websites.
27. Can I access my domain without the "www" in front?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. Example: [http://www.your-name.com] or [http://your-name.com] is acceptable, whichever you prefer.
28. What DNS servers should I use when I transfer my domain?
Currently you should use:
Primary server host name _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Primary server IP address _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Secondary server host name _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _Secondary server IP address _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
As we continue to launch more and more servers the information above will be updated in the future.
29. Will I get a dedicated IP address?
Since dedicated IP addresses are limited, they are generally reserved for users needing SSL certificates. Many users think they need a dedicated IP, when in reality most do not.
30. Can I run my own software on my site?
Most plans will allow running scripts in languages such as Perl or PHP. They will also allow you to run "Cron" which enables you to automatically execute programs or scripts at a specific time and date. However for total custom application hosting, you will need a dedicated or co-located server instead of a shared plan.
31. Can I test my site before beginning service?
We do not offer free trial accounts. We can assign a temporary domain name for testing ping speeds, uptime etc. before you sign up.

All POP clients can be used such as Outlook Express, Outlook, Netscape mail etc. You can use any program which downloads the files from our Servers onto your computers.
33. Can I send bulk, yet targeted Email using your Servers?
No, we consider bulk Email of any kind to be spam. Please read the "terms of service" for more information.
34. Do I get Telnet access?
No, we do not provide Telnet/SSH access. Instead we provide a control panel to manage the site.
35. Is MySQL database space part of the overall space that I purchase?
Yes, the space occupied by the database will be a part of the overall space that you purchase.
36. Are there any extra costs involved in hosting a "SSL secure site"?
Yes, you will need a digital certificate from a Certificate Authority like Verisign, Thawte, etc.
